DracoFly

The Dracofly is small but ferocious. These monsters are a little bigger than a large insect and have a mouthful of sharp serrated teeth. They can attack victims at lightning speed and gouge out small pieces of flesh before disappearing. Dracofly attacks leave a distinctive scar, and sometimes, a wound that fails to heal. Although Dracoflies are usually solitary creatures, occasionally they swarm in their thousands. The reason for these swarms is unknown, though it may be related to the gathering of dark forces. When their numbers are sufficient, their attacks can be deadly. Attacks en masse will strip flesh from the bone and leave only skeletal remains.
